Please welcome STONE, our FREE Acqua plugin, permanently available at no cost, inspired by rare British audio modules originally designed for broadcast and studio use between the 1960s and 1970s.

STONE is not your typical vintage channel strip.
The concept behind this plugin is to create a custom modular signal system, designed as a coherent signal path where tone, balance, and character come together naturally.

At the heart of STONE is an original creative control: the 'Magic Morph'.

This intuitive control allows you to blend smoothly between different sonic behaviors, introducing drive, stereo movement, and spatial depth in real time.
It’s a hands-on way to explore tone and space, designed to feel musical and inspiring.

STONE combines input character, harmonic drive, tonal shaping, and filtering into a single, unified experience. musical, wide-curve equalization with a distinctive sonic personality.
The result is a sound that adds weight, depth, and personality while remaining smooth and musical.

Each stage interacts organically with the others, encouraging both subtle refinement and expressive shaping. Future developments may introduce additional modules and extended functionality, allowing the system to evolve while preserving its original identity.

STONE is ideal as a creative tone shaper on individual tracks—vocals, synths, guitars—where subtle EQ curves, filters, and the Magic Morph can introduce movement, width, and a sense of dimension that feels organic rather than processed.
