Create What EQ Can't
Some processors are designed to do many things. Others exist because they solve one specific problem in a way that more conventional tools simply cannot.
That is the idea behind SHINE.
An equalizer can only shape frequencies that are already present in a signal. A harmonic exciter takes a different approach, generating new harmonic content from the source itself. This makes it possible to enhance clarity, presence, brightness and low-frequency perception even in situations where conventional EQ has reached its limits.
With SHINE, the goal was to take this powerful but highly specific form of processing and make it immediate, focused and musically useful. A simple tool on the surface, built around a processing concept that can move from subtle enhancement and restoration to much more creative harmonic coloration.
Key Features
Independent LOW and HIGH sections for targeted harmonic enhancement.
Symmetric and asymmetric saturation shape different harmonic profiles.
Shape harmonic intensity and blend each processed band independently.
Three post-saturation filters for broad or focused low-end shaping.
Linear-phase filtering keeps dry and processed signals aligned.
Solo, Mid, Side and Delta modes for critical listening.
Make Low End Translate
SHINE goes beyond the traditional idea of an exciter as a tool for adding brightness. Its dedicated LOW section generates harmonics from low-frequency content, helping bass remain defined and perceptible even on systems that cannot fully reproduce its fundamental frequencies.
Three selectable modes, WARM, NORMAL and FOCUS, shape the generated harmonics with different filtering characteristics, letting you move from a broader, softer response to a more focused low-end enhancement.
From bass and kick to complete mixes, SHINE can improve low-end translation without simply turning the bass up.
