GOLD 6 is the new generation of Acustica Audio’s iconic British console collection, bringing decades of analog sampling and preservation into a complete four-plugin suite. Designed for professional recording, mixing and mastering, it includes dedicated PRE, EQ and COMP processors alongside the full GOLD 6 channel strip, with 52 preamp models, nine vintage British EQs and two rare compressors, and a preamp collection enhanced by NOVA technology. GOLD 6 is available in VST3, AAX and AU formats for macOS and Windows.
A Complete British Console Legacy in One Suite

GOLD has always been about more than recreating the sound of classic British hardware. It was conceived as part of the Analog Dreamware Anthology, a way to preserve the character of rare analog machines by capturing them directly and turning their behavior into a lasting digital collection.


These machines age, drift and become harder to maintain, but the sound they created remains part of recording history. GOLD 6 carries that philosophy forward by bringing together different generations of British preamps, EQs and compressors while giving each stage the freedom to work as an independent processor.


Now, for the first time, NOVA technology becomes part of one of Acustica Audio’s flagship collections, bringing the GOLD preamp library into a new generation of nonlinear processing while keeping its original identity intact.

Three Processors, Your Signal Path

At the heart of GOLD 6 are three dedicated plugins: PRE, EQ and COMP.


Each can be loaded independently, combined with the others in any order, or placed anywhere inside a larger DAW chain. This modular approach lets you use only the processing a track actually needs while giving you complete freedom to insert other Acustica or third-party processors between GOLD 6 stages.


For sessions that require the entire GOLD signal path in one place, the suite also includes the complete GOLD 6 Multi-View channel strip.

PRE - Where the Character Begins

Choose from 52 preamp models across LINE, MIC, COMP, BUS and TUBE groups, each offering a different analog response and coloration.


Add the independent TUBE stage in series for extra transformer and valve character, with NOVA powering the new generation of GOLD preamp processing.

EQ - Build the Combination

Choose from nine British EQ models, with independent HF/HMF and LMF/LF sections that can use different models.


The dedicated GOLD 6 EQ plugin adds real-time response and spectrum displays, plus L/R, MID and SIDE processing.

COMP - Two Designs, Six Variants

GOLD 6 COMP is built around the rare 8252 and 8254, each available in Classic, SA and SAR versions for different attack and release behavior.


The standalone processor also provides dedicated SideChain control, gain-reduction metering and its own dry/wet MIX.

The Complete Channel

When the full signal path is required, the GOLD 6 channel strip brings PRE, EQ and COMP together inside one Multi-View plugin.


Move between STRIP, PRE, EQ and COMP views, reorder EQ and compression, add the TUBE stage and use Auto Gain and HOLD for more reliable level-matched comparisons.
