Filling the gaps between frequencies
DIAMOND COLOR EQ 4 is not built around an endless selection of isolated frequencies. Its four bands reflect the tonal relationships Luca Pretolesi reaches for when a mix needs more weight, body, presence, openness or final cohesion.
Each band uses broad, overlapping curves with a bandwidth of approximately two octaves, allowing adjacent areas of the spectrum to interact naturally. Instead of treating every frequency as a separate problem, COLOR EQ shapes the balance of the source as a whole.
The responses have been refined for smoother transitions and more continuous gain movement, combining the immediacy of Luca’s workflow with the precision and dynamic behavior of Acustica Audio processing.
The result is fast, musical tone shaping designed to bring a production closer to its finished sound, from electronic music and mix buses to stems and individual tracks.
