CINNABAR was developed around a straightforward objective: to allow full control over signal level, while ensuring that such control does not ultimately influence the final evaluation.
This is achieved through an intentionally overengineered gain architecture designed to make level both fully adjustable and, when required, completely irrelevant.
CINNABAR is available in VST3, AAX, and AU formats and is compatible with all major DAWs on macOS and Windows systems.
Absolute Gain Control
The plugin features an ultra high-resolution gain stage for manual level adjustment, offering a level of precision that comfortably exceeds any practical requirement. This is paired with an Autogain function that restores the output level to match the original input signal, regardless of the current knob position, including cases where the knob has been deliberately pushed far beyond reasonable use.
This effectively re-establishes a consistent reference point at any time, allowing users to compare processing under identical level conditions, even after making deliberate, and occasionally unnecessary, changes.
By removing level as a variable, CINNABAR ensures that perceived improvements remain consistent when gain is matched correctly. When they do not, the cause may lie elsewhere.

Performance Metrics
The architecture introduces no harmonic distortion under any condition, with total harmonic distortion effectively reduced to zero. The output signal remains virtually identical to the input, ensuring complete transparency, even when there is nothing to add.
