ACQUA - Green3

GREEN3 emulates an expensive equalizer universally considered as one of the best choices as far as transparency and precision of operation are concerned - a processor that can be found on the master output bus of innumerable recording studios as well as mastering rooms. Like its inspiring hardware model, GREEN3 equalizer includes 5 peaking frequency bands, the first and last of which can be switched to a shelf curve. A preamp stage is also provided, for an extra analog touch.


The GREEN3 equalizer is characterized by an astonishing precision and is able to sculpt the right frequency response of any source with great accuracy. GREEN3 offers 5 overlapping frequency bands, which provide great accuracy and flexibility, giving you complete control over a wide range of frequencies and bandwidth settings. The low and high bands, besides having the same “Q” values available as the other 3 central bands, may also be switched to become shelving filters.


Green3 is based on the new Core7 engine, a revolutionary multithreading technology by Acustica which allows optimizing the use of system resources. Core7 is based on a fractal approach to partitioned convolution; it maximizes the performance of Acqua plug-ins by splitting the processing load into several real-time concurrent threads. Core7 introduces as well a new “Zero Latency” operating mode.
