Thanks for posting happymagilla - very good mix!

Looking through your short list, I can't see any EQ. Do you use alo EQ for subtractive EQ, but no Nebula to enhance certain frequency areas?

I really like the separation in your mixes, everything is so clear and have it's defined place - and the balance is great.

Do you mind writing some sentences about your EQ strateqy and if you use different tapes on different instruments? I see you have listed HO tape, but I reckon you use different tapes from his collection?

Mfc eq form alexb 88rs....
It sounds excellent and its a workhorse type of eq.

I dont have any set strategy...but I boost with nebula and cut with cubase stock eq....I try to make room for the vocal as Im going as well as try to make sure all instruments have a place on the eq spectrum....basically the same way I mix my live shows..I am pretty fast...the big difference is having automation..now that I have nebula Im not afraid of too much eq because it sounds so good...so I can b drastic with it at times...Hope that helps...Thanks for the kind words

for tape Im using henry o tape simms...i think it was m4 30ips on every track...

- Aha! I've got the MFC console, but haven't tried the EQ, thanks for mentioning.

Thanks for the info about tape etc!
