Wow - this sounds very good! Very good balance, depth and very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

Can you please give us some more details of the mix? And I'm also interested in which reverb(s) you have used, I really like the dimensionality and separation in this mix :D

alex b mfc channels and busses and master
timp sum 100 on everything except buss compression
henryo preamps 610 .N**e, heleious and mics u87 and tape sim

its a 16 track adat for the tracking...it really sounded cheap until i applied nebula..very pleased with the results...so is the client...I am blown away by this technology ...will never mix with out it..for reverbs i used bricasti m7 convolution samples on vox and drums and instruments

Thanks, happymagilla, very interesting!
And this is only a mix, you haven't mastered it?
It sounds very good.

I am not equipted to master....but I ran it thru a xenon limiter plug to up the level..so yeah its unmastered....thanks for the kind words

about the mix

I only spent 4 hours on this one including bouncing every track.I usually spend 10-16hrs.I am finding it to be faster with nebula because the sound is so good and Im not noodling around with plugins to make it sound like something..its forcing me to make decisions and commit to it....Ive been mixing for 30 years as a live engineer...Ive only done about 6 records so far as a mix engineer but ive worked on many gold and platinum records in the 90s at great analog studios in NYC and LA California..so my ears are tweaked to real analog.....I cant tell the difference between nebula and the real thing.

Thanks happymagnilla! This mix is really inspiring, especially when I hear how you took some OK sounding tracks and "nebulized" them into something very good.
Thanks again for sharing :D
