My first few Nebula (mixed & mastered) tracks

Postby kriece » Sun Sep 14, 2014 3:17 am

Howdy all,

A few weeks into Nebula I thought I would post the first few bits mixed and mastered in Nebula. No doubt there are some kinks to iron out in terms of process but I am loving the sound. I recently sold my Thermionic Phoenix and haven't regretted it for a moment since discovering Nebula.

The Thermionic Phoenix is a compressor from reading their website. What did you use instead of it the Nebula world?

Sorry I forgot to mentioned what I used.

The FENIX is my Nebula replacement for the Phoenix and it sounds remarkably similar except at fast compression (so I use an algo compressor to catch transients etc)

I also used -

- Henry's GML mojo
- Modern Dynamics & Console
- Fate EQ

And on individual tracks that had any harsh digital sound I used the Real to Real (Studer, 30).
