Dexter song? As in the TV series? Loved that show, only one of two shows I watch, the other is National Geographic of which I have an addiction. :)

yes, "that" dexter ;)
there's a small conversation between astor and dexter about 13 (lumen) inside, coming from 5th season.
The quality is not very good but you could listen the complete song on youtube

but beware, the quality of this youtube version is pretty low. High frequencies are completely damaged.
Even itunes compression is not that great, you can hear a difference with original wav file, anyway that youtube version is extremely bad ahahahah.
And yes, the tune is extremely overcompressed, this is a musical genre, though.

FYI, a big radio will start playing it soon.

Do you use Nebula compressors too for that track ? If yes which ones ?
I'm really not a fan of 4 on the floor but the mix on 13 is polish, deep and pro, no joke

I tried an other rated plugin compressor (an other S*L clone), but I ended using snap compressor in sidechain mode for almost all tracks. Compressed several times each one, using different settings. I used also fatfunk 4k. I explained it in "sidechain for everyone" topic.

Compression in this tune is huge. The kick is more or less "alone". Bass was not easy to achieve, because there were a lot of things overlapping there.

This song is basically a demo of nebula.
What's cool, I created all tracks in massive and mixed them. So I had around 24 stems, and I started processing nebula, printing a demo each time, a sort of "making of" of nebula processing. I could post it in the future.....
