Nebula crashes Ableton Live 9.6 and Logic X

Postby kosmasepsilon » Sat May 21, 2016 12:53 am

Anyone else or is it only me? I was using Nebula A LOT all the time, but suddenly after a few days it started crashing ABleton Live, which is my main DAW. Not only when trying to put an instance, but also when I try to open a project where I used Nebula. This drives me crazy!! I also tried to see if it is an Ableton/Nebula problem, but not. It also crashes my Logic X.
What the hell happens, who knows, but I cannot work on any project I used it and I need to take them out of the Components/VST folders, so as to open projects without the Nebula instances :(
Help!!!

Nebula will crash if you are running it without a valid license or if an emulation preset is corrupted.

I have a valid license, and don't think there is a corrupted file, as I removed all programs and vectors from the default place and still crashes when trying to open.

sorry to hear of your hassle :(
always a pain if things like this happen.

any samplerate changes involved? i had a situation a while back, where all samplerates except 44.1 khz crashed my daws (three different ones).
i suspected some authorization issues, but never got down to it.

a reinstallation of nebula (only nebula, not the library) cured it back then.
i moved the library (programs and vectors) to another drive and completely uninstalled nebula, then reinstalled and authorized again.

i hope you'll get it to work fast! good luck.
