Ultramarine3 ShMod Control Question

Postby realhomerecording » Tue Sep 13, 2016 3:00 am

Hello,

I was curious as to which ShMod setting would most closely match the original hardware? It doesn't specify in the manual and I don't want to assume that it is the default number 2 setting.

Also, is the ShMod basically a hard knee/soft knee type of effect or is it something else?

One last question (for now). The sidechain filter has what appears to be a female gender symbol. Then there's the OFF setting as well. The default is the female symbol. What is the difference between the two, if any?

Factory default value.

It is a transient modulator, first time implemented in Pink channel strip.
