Ultramarine 3, speculations

Postby giancarlo » Thu Aug 04, 2016 10:13 pm

good news.
- Product should be released in september
- We don't need to sample it again, we achieved to use old samples
- Shapes are really clean! everything worked!
- Luckily a 670 is not program-dependent on attack, it means we have EVERYTHING already for a proper emulation
- It will be fully program dependent on release
- Yes it will be awesome. Really! the best 670 plugin. I accept bets.

almost 50dB of compression will be possible
ANYWAY it is an extreme feature lol. You should never use a 670 for that lol

I know we can never have enough GOOD, PROUD ... Marines ... but maybe we need a new naming convention to separate these units [AG-3]. :|
i7-5820k, MSI X99A Plus, 16 GIG Ram, Noctua NH-D14, Win-7 Pro [64-bit], Reaper-64

NVC [Nebula Virtual Controllers]

When did you start to settle for "almost"?

Only kidding, looking forward to this one. Will it be the same HW-faithful feature set? Or should we anticipate side chain filtering and ShMod, etc.?

I think SHMOD is a must for all aqua compressors now that we've realized how useful it is to the process.

Will there be a new GUI?

Most Acqua gui's are spectuacular and I always felt Ultramarine GUI is a bit subdued and could use a little more contrast.

But nevermind: Most important thing is compression behaviour!
I am truly excited.
