I told my self i wasnt going to buy this comp cause i have enough nebula/aqua comps. But as soon as i tried this on the drum bus I was SOLD, Phenomenal job!.

P.s I hate you guys ;) .

Was the original unit sampled in true stereo? Or just one channel is used for dual-mono / mid-side operation?

Nice looking GUI on this one!

we sampled both channels but fixed the frequency response of the right one because it was a bit less good than the left one

Thanks Giancarlo. That seems to be one of the more underrated aspects of nebula samplings - the ability to retain some organic differences between channels but still have a frequency and phase response as close as you wish, with perfect recall and repeatability.

When using several stereo sampled programs in series, there is a very pleasant but subtle width or openness. It would be nice to see Pearl include a stereo option in future updates.

I can't stop revisiting in my mind what the Lat/Vert mode does with program material & the general tonal characteristics overall. The UM trial version sounds great in combination with Pearl....
