it is incredibly good, seriously.
We'll explain it better but:

if you split attack values to 5 sections:
1) the first one is based on lookahead. It is ultrafast mode, till 0 ms, not featured on original gear
2) the second one is featuring attack 1 and 2 from hardware
3) other sections are like the hardware

About compression: original gear compresses till 18 dB. We extended the threshold and you can reach easily 25-30 dB now.
It is acting like hardware, but better.

About mac osx: there will be a better release in the evening: a fix for 44 Khz crossovers (a little 2 dB issue) and a fix for au64 because it starts "louder", 3b and 2b).
Also crossovers are way more linear than the one found on the hardware. We worked hard on them.

It is the first time I have a multiband compressor I LIKE on my computer, the first time. This is my personal opinion, but it FEELS like an hardware device. Yesterday I re-mastered several dance tunes, already compressed and they turned out BETTER. If you spend a bit of time on it you can do miracles easily. It is also difficoult to make it sound bad. In my opinion: impressive

minimum attack = not found on hardware
Instantaneous 25 dB compression, almost no distortion

This compressor looks very promising, so I don't want to spoil the party...!

I just wonder, will it be possible to link parameters, so that moving threshold on band 1, automatically will move the threshold on band 2 and 3 too? Same with attack, release, ratio?

That is very good, thank you. Not everybody processes drum loops all day :-)
