Amber 2 Trail "I going to loose the settings?"

Postby maniak » Sun Jun 21, 2015 6:34 am

I have a quick question .. Right now I'm using the Trail version of Amber 2... If I decide to purchase the plugin later on, I'm going to loose all the setting that I use on the trail version?

Exactly that's why I ask, because I saw a problem with Honey.. Thanks for the response..

Giancarlo I have a issue when I Export the Audio from Reaper.. (I have noticed with Magenta 2 too) there is always a delay or gap. I think that is because the latency of the plugin. Is there any "trick" that I can use in Reaper to prevent that?

Here you can see the Audio did not start on time..

- The oldest "trick" in the book is to have 1 or 2 bars before your music starts to let all plugins, sample libs etc kind of 'wake up'...! Then the audio won't be chopped off like in the picture :D

Just my 2 cc

the buffer gap affects all core6 eq plugins on different ways, it will be worked soon
It was already partially fixed - at the beginning it was way more visible

that's how i do it since years ... :)
there is always a chance that some plugin chokes at the beginning and it's not always that visible like with the example above.
system 1: windows 8 32 bit - samplitude prox/x3, tracktion6/7, reaper
system 2: mac osx yosemite - reaper(32+64bit), tracktion6/7(32+64bit)

both systems on: macbook pro (late 2009), core 2 duo 3,06 ghz, 4 gb ram, graphic: nvidia geforce 9600M GT 512 MB

While possible (and recommended) in mixing it's not always possible in mastering applications.

OK, tumburu - sorry for my ignorance, I thought that was possible in every DAW, but I haven't mastered with Aqua plugins yet!

Hope it will get sorted out soon though:)

I always do the 1 or 2 bar “trick” but somethings I like to export sections and never have this obvious gap.
But well, I'm really glad that Giarcarlo know about the issue and is working on it.
I've been using Amber 2 for more than 8 hours in one song that I working on and I found a couples issues with the authorization key and bands... Do I have to open a ticket for that?
