NEBULAMAN 0.5

Postby zabukowski » Mon Feb 21, 2011 9:51 am

0.5

- fixed renderer bug (rendering was hanging on some machines)
- memory info
- OSX: log file now saved to /Library/Logs

Enjoy!

Hi
There is now a render to file button. (there wasn't before) When I load wav files and play programs I can hear the nebula effect but pressing the render to file button doesnt seem to change the wav file permanently.
Are the rendered files stored elsewhere?

PS

OSX finder cant see the rendered file but nebulaman can see it in its browser.

Rendered file has suffix "_NR" (for example: "x.wav" becomes "x_NR.wav"). Rendered file is located in the same directory as the original file. This is a temporary solution.

Note, that this program is still in early, experimental developing stage. So things are far from optimal and there are many temporary solutions, which will be implemented properly when their time comes :)

As I say, osx doesnt see the NR file so it cant use it.

You are saying NebulaMan can see a file and Finder can't ?
 NebulaMan is using standard osx open dialog.

Please send me a log file. Start NebulaMan, load a program, preview etc. Then start rendering. When rendering is 100% done, right click on the log window and select "Save contents to file". This will create "nebulaman.log" inside "username/Library/Logs" folder.

Please send this file to zabukowski@gmail.com

btw. you can see the exact path of rendered file inside log window, too.

Thanks!
