Important: Version 0.9 introduces some changes to a layout file – old layout files will be ignored, so you'll have to setup NebulaMan windows/docks/toolbars again (ignore the error message).
What is new 0.8 -> 0.9:
HOT: Preview/render with multiple Nebula programs
- "Master FX insert" dock - multiple selection support (when adding programs with a “Add program(s)” option) - bypass, delete, reorder, clear Master FX inserts (multi selection supported) - total FX memory consumption and latency info - FX are automatically saved/loaded to/from settings file - sample rate of FX is always changed according to the current preview/render file sample rate (this can take some time, if a lot of FX is used, because programs are reloaded). Because of that, files with a different sample rates can be part of the same rendering plan.
- “Preview/Repeat" option (shortcut 'R') - “Settings/Tail size” (number of empty buffers to be played at the end of file – handy for long reverbs – note: buffers will be added to final rendered audio files, also) - context toolbars - click on a checkbox inverts 'use' state of all selected items (rendering plan, fx window) - all columns state/order saved/restored to a layout file (repository, rendering plan, fx window) - new portaudio v1.9_20110326 - tons of changes, fixes, optimizations ...
- if sample rate is not supported by audio driver, program terminates - win: Generic Low Latency Driver is sometimes blacklisted by portaudio (under investigation) - as always, there is a lot of new code, so take care
If you have problems with a program, first try to delete "nmsettings.xml" and "nebulaman.layout" files to reset it.
