hi,

i am probably being stupid, but any chance of a little manual with this app that would tell users how to work it?

i freshly installed the 1.1 version on xp 32bit.

i have nebula pro installed and working, no idea about acqua or how to set it up or anything. it just tells me:

"error loading acqua library - check program settings!"

i tried to load nssettings.xml (just guessing, no instructions) into library config selection and now the app is crashed with a constant windows 'busy' icon. even if i uninstall and reload it is still 'busy'

THANKS for making this free app, but no joy for me yet.

ACQUA library configuartion path actually is the location of Nebula3CoreII64 Reverb.xml. It is the same as the path of Source Nebula XML.

eg. "C:\vstplugins\acustica\Nebula3CoreII64 Reverb.xml"

Destination Nebula XML is the path where you want to create a new dll and xml file, you can give it name such as Neb Comp and etc.. eg. "C:\vstplugins\acustica\Neb Comp.xml"

Set-up XML file name will be created automatically after you do the step above....
eg. "C:\nebulatemprepository\Setups\Neb Comp_setup.xml"

Skin file name is the path where the skin you are going to use..

First delete nssettings.xml. This will allow you to start the program again.

Go to the settings tab (ACQUA library configuration) and press little folder icon.
Find and select xml file of your original Nebula plugin, located in the vstplugins acustica folder (for example Nebula3 Reverb.xml).

ACQUA will then load successfully (ACQUA is needed for Nebula related stuff inside program). This has to be done only at the first program start.

Now, you can go to the 'Setup' tab and make your own setup.

Hope it helps!

Hi!

Nebula Set-ups is working just fine, but I only wonder why the figure of found Nebula programs vary; first time with one of the early versions there was over 800 programs, with 1.0 about 450 and with 1.1 there is 546.
All the programs that I'm mostly interested in seem to be there but I'm just wondering what is actually happening.

Anyway Set-ups is a very useful and easy to use thingy so thanks again Franci!

Ups, this is really strange.

At least 1.0 and 1.1 should report the same number of programs. Can you please check again, if 1.0 still shows different number than 1.1.

If you'll find that Nebula Set-ups shows something that shouldn't be there, or some programs are missing, please let me know immediately!

Please check your nebulatemprepository\programs folder. How many n2p files are there ? Set-ups should report the same number minus one (init program is not counted).

Also please also, which setup your ACQUA XML is using. It should have scanboot set to 1, too.

Thanks

I found AQUAVOX XML where scanboot is 0.
Is this the right AQUA? If it is, should I change it to 1?
If so, how will it be done? Just write it there?

Sorry, forgot part of my reply:
This time both 1.0 and 1.1 showed the same number of programs: 546
The number of n2p files is over 800.

Use Nebula3 Reverb.xml (vstplugins acustica folder) for your XML library configuration. It should be ok.

Acquavox is NOT ok!
