Convert programs to any rate?

Postby mpodrug » Sat Nov 20, 2010 3:32 pm

Supposedly there is a tool but Gaincarlo said it's not debugged yet.

Did anyone successfully converted 44khz programs to 96khz? Please don't debate why working at 96 khz and so on. I am asking can anyone provide some steps to convert programs to 96khz so one can avoid long program loading/conversion (for programs which need to be converted) when Nebula is loading at 96khz.

I see some people did it. How and is there any harm? Does some programs become unusable after conversion?

So far any program is converted fine in Nebula live conversion but i would like to reduce loading time.

you can do it in nat3.
when i remember correctly, it is done with the crypt-tool.

you have to choose the programs you want to convert.

make a backup-copy of programs and vectors before !!

for some programs it worked correctly, some got serious errors, like nasty distortion. so you have to try yourself what works.

Thanks guys. I guess i'll stick with Nebula live convert at the moment because i don't want to end with broken programs or some issues. Hopefully Giancarlo will debug this. Some little handy tool for program convert could be just fine. :D
