Memory error message in NRGUI 1.4 (Nebula Renderer)

Postby ericus » Thu Apr 08, 2010 7:49 pm

Hi,

I've been trying to use the last version of NRGUI 1.4 with a bunch of 32 bits/44.1 tracks (37 tracks, some mono, some stereo) and I'm getting a message talking about a memory error at the end of the rendering. Here's what it says :

Memory allocated: 87278638
Memory error: 68124

I then have to close the DOS window manually. The tracks seem to have been rendered, they all complete.

Any ideas? I'm using the lastest version of Nebula Pro (1.3.401). The presets I was using were an instance of R2R and an instance of the new MCB PRO.

Thanks in advance!

Eric

P.S. Should this post be here or in the Bugs section?

I can't get renderer to work at all with the MBC Pro...the DOS window brings up the number of the program but where the name normally appears it says INIT.

I think Giancarlo mentioned a new Renderer might be required in the post about MBC Pro??

Hi Giancarlo,

I'm using the Renderer that was included with NRGUI 1.3, it is version 1.3.393.

The AcquaL00.dll is also the one that was included with NRGUI 1.3.

393 is not too much old; anyway I'll send a new version to franci, maybe it's related with your issue.

Ok, I'll wait for the next version.

In the meantime, I'll do some more testing with less and/or different files; I'll post the results later.
