Hi Zab,

I'm looking at the 'Message' tab with 'Advanced Log' option selected ...

The 'Message' area displays this:

preview/ACQUA library initialized: C:/Program Files/Steinberg/Vstplugins/acustica/Nebula3 Reverb.xml, 44100 Hz

preview/Nebula engine: STARTING...(11), version: 1.3.500a

preview/program 782 (FNX FENIX MAST CL) loaded (size: 6034.38 kb, delay comp.: 4162 samples, id: 5)

preview/1 program(s) loaded - total size: 6034.38 kb

preview/total delay compensation: 4162 samples
--------------------------
preview/program 794 (FNX FENIX MAST CL) loaded (size: 6161.02 kb, delay comp.: 4162 samples, id: 6)

preview/2 program(s) loaded - total size: 12195.4 kb

preview/total delay compensation: 8324 samples
===================================================

OK ... these are 2 patches. One @ 96k, the other 44.1k
I do not see a clear identification of the libraries 'original' samplerate.

Even if this can be derived in the 'Message' tab, it means having to FIRST load a library to know ?!?!
Obviously, loading the appropriate library at the sessions native SR would be most efficient.
Basically, we'd need to 'see' this at the menu choice level ... yes ?!?

To the driver request, expanding choices other than ASIO ... this rules out using any VST plugs that could be external chained ... such as the AQUA libraries, the CDSM tape driver, and other various tools like correlation/ phase meters, VU meters, various analyzers, etc. Essential Mastering tools.
May the possibility have a future :)

Sincerely.

I agree, there is no information about 'default' library's sample rate. I'll look into Acqua library - i think there are functions for this.

Regarding opening plugin (VST) world to NebulaMan, I think it would me much more efficient to implement support for VST plugins in NebulaMan directly. That would be something ;)

Hi,
I'm having trouble to get NebulaMan working on a macbook pro with OSX 10.7.3 and Nebula3 Pro 1.3.502 (licensed and activated).

Whenever I try to select the Nebula3 Reverb.xml file I get a crash and it crashes next time I try to run NebulaMan it crashes even before showing the GUI. I can only get to the GUI if I delete the nmsettings.xml file.

I've attached the .crash file. Please let me know if you need some additional log files.

By the way, this happens on the latest dev version as well as the older stable version of NebulaMan.

I haven't tried with an older Nebula version though...

Thanks,
matej

Crash report shows that NebulaMan is crashing when trying to init ACQUA using parameters from your Nebula3 Reverb.xml file.

Here I have a working setup using MacBook Pro, 10.6.4 and Nebula 1.3.502.

Please send me your Nebula3 Reverb.xml file.

NebulaMan 1.2 dev 2

Postby zabukowski » Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:56 am

Please read this before using development version:
http://www.zabukowski.com/software/Deve ... README.pdf

What's new:

– EBU R128 loudness analysis (support for multichannel files)
– optional per item normalizing to EBU R128 -23 LUFS at the final output stage of the rendering process
-"EBU R128 loudness" option in a Project pool context menu (right-click on a file)
– drag & drop audio file from operating system directly to the audio file name button (preview)
– file statistics function is now disabled with multichannel files
– FX and peak RMS normalizing are ignored when rendering multi channel files
– rendering of very short files was incorrect, if delay compensation was larger than file's size

Read more about EBU R128 and end of loudnes war here ...

HI Zabukowski,

I found that presets in fx insert couldn't be checked in win X64 version as shown in the picture....

Try resizing first column with a mouse.

Looks like default column size is far from perfect ;)

Please Zabukowski can you show us how to (where to click) to RMS normalization before process with Nebula chain + EBU r-128 normalization after process with Nebula chain. My first test seems that EBU r-128 normalization fail.
