Using 64 bit for NRGUI only?

Postby turbotrixie » Wed Jan 11, 2012 12:54 pm

Hello there, I just discovered the renderer and was wondering if I can use 64 bit Nebula for that only? My DAW is 32 bit (Cubase 5) and I have an E8500 running at 3.8ghz - Will I notice any significant performance increase (faster rendering) by going 64 bit through NRGUI? Will I need a seperate license for Nebula?

If anyone can help me with these questions I would be very grateful!

As I am aware, rendering speed will not be significantly different. Real 64 bit benefit is not rendering speed, but amount of ram, which you can use (32 bit - max 4 GB, 64 bit - theoretical Windows 7 x64 limit is 192 GB).

You don't need additional license for Nebula x64.

Don't forget to try NebulaMan, NRGUI's sucessor.
