MAGIC is not really something new in the plugin world and i don't see it confusing at all (i guess it is just me). Some VST hosts (not all, though) also require the unique MAGIC value of each VST setup, so users have to take care about it in the same way as with AU's. This is something you can't ignore.
Maybe in the future Nebula Setups will be able to manage these MAGIC strings automatically, but can't promise anything atm.
Hey Franci Apologies for venting my frustration out on you I finally got grips with your SW and I now have a lovely organised folder of plugins load times is a huge improvement ,workflow is greatly improved too!! might i suggest a walk through Video for noobs ? I'm usually good at picking up new SW but it had me baffled for a few hours
Good to hear that it is working for you now!
Yeah, i've been thinking about video tutorials for a long time, but so far i haven't found enough energy and skills to jump into it.
This whole setups system is rather special and can be tricky as well, not something you would easily find in software world IMHO, so i agree there are some things which can (and hopefully) will be improved and simplified in the future - i am doing my best
This win x64 version crashes when initializing, I have to roll back to the previous version...
Which Nebula version do you have installed ?
2.5.1 comes with the latest ACQUA programming library, which is compatible also with the latest (beta) Nebula versions. It is possible that this library doesn't work in some specific circumstances/combinations - i haven't experienced this kind of problems, though.
You can try to replace ACQUAL01.DLL with the 2.5 version of this library and see if it works (dll is located in program's installation dir).

So when to delete the Temp files? And how to avoid empty programs?
Please look 3 posts back - try to replace ACQUA library with the old one and see what happens. Nebula Setups doesn't use TEMP folder directly, only Nebula and ACQUA library do, so this might be related to new ACQUA library.
Any more detailed info would be appreciated. Which Nebula version do you use ?
