Completely agree. I'm buying this the day it comes out.

Last weekend I figured out a way to do a setup to keep a second temprepository directory using Nebula Setup and a change or two to the Nebula XML file. Wanted to do this for the Gemini Audio G2500 release and all of its presents so I could use all the preset files for a specific sample rate. Would have been a huge pain without Nebula Setup, so much so that I wouldn't have even bothered to try.

I don't think Zeb has announced any pricing yet. His other commercial product, NebulaMan is priced at 22 Euros, so hopefully this one will be somewhere in that range.

My estimate turned out to be pretty darn close :)

According to the announcement, we can go ahead and purchase a license for Nebula Setup now. I'll be doing that myself next paycheck.

I've a feature request, if it's possible.

Like on Nebulaman, selective default xml for every setup:

This because the Nebula and Nebula Reverb xmls are quite different.
For Nebula Compressor, usually is needed the Nebula Regular xml.
For other type of effects, the default is Nebula Reverb xml
It can be done maybe with tweaks, but...
It would be much more simple.

Additionally, it's possible for Nebula Setups to read the programs in the Alternative Datapath?
As it is now, it reads only the default repository.
If the programs are stored on another drive or folder, they don't appear in the program list

Thank you

That's why tweaks are for :) IMHO using tweaks is much more simple, because parameter changes/tweaks become a part of the setup and you don't have to think about multiple source xml files anymore.

I just tried Setups 2 RC1 here (win 7 x64). It show programs from alternative data path as expected. Can't say why this is not working for you. Please doublecheck all relevant parameters - does Nebula VST show all programs ???

Program list retrieving is done thru Acqua library, so it should work the same as Nebula. There is a strange limitiation regarding total number of programs inside repository, which can cause some programs to be excluded from the list.

Nebula Vst shows the programs in the Alternative data path, but Nebula Setups doesn't.
It only sees only the default repository, Init file only in Pre category
I'm on OSX 10.6.8. I'll try on Mountain and Mavericks.
Now I'm starting installing the libraries, and I'm well under the limit:
2000 programs maximum
