Sampling Gear questions

Postby THAPRODUCERZ » Fri Mar 18, 2016 8:41 pm

I am looking into possibly getting a Rosetta 200 (used of course), to do some sampling of my own, how difficult would one say it is to sample gear such as eqs preamps and compressors, in terms of time.

I would like to book studio time at some analog equipped places to do sampling so time plays the biggest part. I haven't tried to use NAT at all so I'm just gathering basic info.

I'm not to concerned with the time of putting all of the samples together in one library and tweaking them, as I can do that on my own time, but just the work of sampling alone is where I'm curious.

Estimate Level of difficulty:
Estimated Time of measurement(to achieve good results):
ITB: i7-4770 3.4ghz, 32GB Ram, Windows 10, Nebula 3 Server Ultimate,Protools 11, Cubase LE 8, Reaper 4, Flstudio 12, Komplete 10 ultimate,i also have a need for authentic analog tone

4 to 8 hours per equipment, but could be more if there is a 5 band full parametric EQ.

We will do a NAT workshop soon, and will be free.

This is LONG overdue IMO. I'll be very interested to hear more about this!

Will this be an online video thing? Or a manual? A lot of us are unable to make it to italy.
