Enhanced Transients

Postby yr » Sat Sep 10, 2011 7:45 pm

I've been trying to capture a nice sounding software saturation chain for several hours now. I keep ending up with pretty nice sounding presets with one big problem- they enhance transients. I've tried the different "smooth" options (under glob) and different templates for offline sampling, but nothing works. This effect doesn't exist with the original saturation. Any ideas?

Also, what are the best templates for capturing saturation effects that compress the sound (software based)?

Any tips greatly appreciated.
