Hi I'm new to both Nebula and NAT, but I'd like to learn to sample my hardware. Is there anywhere I can find a step-by-step, straightforward tutorial or instruction manual/guide to sample hardware eq's, compressors,FX, and preamps?
I tried reading the NAT tips, but they are written from the standpoint of someone knowing "something" about NAT. Unfortunately, I know nothing. I have Nebula 3 Pro, NAT3Free, and willingness to learn. Where do I start?
Hey guys. I got a few minutes to try NAT3 again today, but I don't have the Session files to sample any hardware. Can somebody point me where to get them? My sessions folder contains offline and sampler presets folders, but they are empty. Please, advise.
I still need the session files to use NAT. I haven't sampled anything yet, but I would still like to try.
Is it true that I need NAT3 Platinum to sample my compressors? If so, how much is it? I suspect that it must be more difficult to sample compressors for NAT, so one must work directly with Giancarlo to accomplish this. Sorry for all of the questions and heckling, but if I get this to work I could easily save myself over $12,000 in converter and compressor costs. Not, to mention, I'd have multiple great sounding compressors at my disposal.
Well, I have to crawl before I can walk, so I need somebody to shoot me the NAT3 session files or tell me where to get them so that I can get started.
NAT (commercial) has session/templates inside NAT. Try to install Nebula x86 in a fake folder or in other computer to grab it. I'll post how sample a compressors in few next newsletters. Sampling compressors is like make 3 sampling sessions in one so I recommend you to start with simple stuff like preamp or reverbs.
