Nebula feature suggestions

The pre-loading SRC, a PITA.

Postby tumburu » Wed Apr 14, 2010 1:02 am

I have asked this on the old forum and didn't received an answer.

Working on 44.1 with this 96kHz libraries is a PITA regarding the long loading time due to the conversion that has to take place every single time I want to use Nebula.

So I take it that Nebula has this kind of limitation right now but I wish there could be some kind of saving of the converted programs so that you can just load that when working at lower sample rates. When working at 96 they load quickly, but that is still not an option for efficient work for me.

Is there any chance to have such a function implemented?

there is a procedure in nat, documented in the old forum, for converting the whole library at once. I'm not sure it's fully debugged, but a lot of users tried this solution.

i tried it with a 6 month older version of NAT and it did not work. it seemed to work but there was something very wrong which i forget now, listen carefully before accepting the result of the conversion.

could someone confirm it works well with the latest version as i want to do all my 96 stuff to 44.1 as thats all i use.

is it the best quality way to use nat?
