Nebula feature suggestions

Dedicated mono and stereo vsts

Postby winrob » Thu May 23, 2013 3:24 pm

Could we get versions of Nebula with 1 in and 1 out and a version with 2 ins and 2 outs.

Currently Nebula has 4 ins which makes it incompatable with H******* Mixbus. In Mixbus, a plugin must match a tracks i/os so we cant use Nebula. I have asked them to fix this but it looks like they have no plans to do so.

Please give us these versions of Nebula so we can use it in Mixbus.

Thanks.

this is not to blame on nebula!
that's a known shortcoming in mixbus. they know about it at H******* and promised to come up with a solution.
i don't know when that will be. maybe tell them again and it will be earlier ... :P

Yes, i know Nebula is not at fault but H******* just arent fixing it. Its been years now and i dont think they ever will thats why i was hoping nebula could help us nebula users thet just want to use their plugin in mixbus.

H******* Mixbus is based on Ardour.
Latest version of Mixbus is based on Ardour 2.
Version 3 of Ardour is under development and it'll include the features you need (vst 3 and more).
Problem is that it's still a beta, and I think you don't want a H******* 3 based on an unstable build.
Use Reaper for it, I've leaved Logic Pro behind for Nebula.
(I'm thinking that I should make a Win-Bootcamp partition only for Nebula... it's more quick, stable and there are more features, and support, on Win)
Use H******* as it is, for finalize, the summing is very good.
(I'm also a owner of Mixbus)
Sorry but you, as me, have to wait, like I'm waiting for a stable VST 64 and AU 64 for OSX.
Maybe much, much, very much, very, very much, very, very, very much,
Time
Today was delivered 2.3 update, but it is, again, based again on VST 2
It's Ardour development the slow one.

Let's hope...

Can you send me an explanation of the problem to enrique.silveti AT acusticaudio.net. We have contact with H******* and MixBus NFR license.
