One cool thing would be the ability to add a thumbnail picture window of the emulated preset piece of gear.
Perhaps with browsing by picture possibility?

Thanks

Ok, I'll make a start:
Here's a pic of the hardware used for the upcoming "Mammoth EQ":

(Posted by Giancarlo already, but I couldn't resist to repost it... )
But seriously: It's a nice idea, but Nebula users should do manage the thumbnails. It could cause legal issues for developers...

I thought that was the 'Mattel-EQ' ...

That's why we do need pics !

Seriously, though ... it would be nice to have pics
of the eq-curves.

Well I see your point about legal issues. But are you sure there will issues? If a photo of a product is shown somewhere does that all ways require copyrights?
Anyways.... It might not be something that some people think the users should deal with, but I for one, wouldn´t mind at all to add my own photos of the "sampled" gear - makes a lot easier to id. Also I could see myself renaming presets to what they really are! does not matter as long as I am doing it on my own system. Good idea with pictures of an EQ curves as well.
Without comparing Nebula to Altiverb in any way! I just like the new picture browser in altiverb, very intuitive.
Love Nebula...

In general, to simply show a picture of a product is not necessarily an issue. When you are talking about a product and using another product's picture then you are getting into the realm of 'representation'. This can absolutely be an issue.

The problem with copyright squatters isn't that the law is on their side, it's that they potentially have the resources to make life unpleasant for you. You don't need to have a winning case to file a suit which would be potentially financially devastating to a smaller developer.

I can understand if Acustica won´t post presents with the org. names nor pictures of the org. piece of equipment, for legal reasons, but the clients should certainly be able to change the names of presets on their own system. Therefore it would be super cool, if clients could "add" a thumbnail picture to the individual presets. That could show up in a window somewhere in Nebula.
I would love to have this!
