.ser file, where the hell is mine?

Postby Baracus » Mon Apr 23, 2012 5:37 pm

Hi guys, i'm running win7 64bit, and my primary daw is cubase 5, but i'm also using ableton live 8.
I've tried installing nebula 3 but the vst doesn't show up in my effects list in cubase (altough it is showing up properly in ableton live) and nebula 2 who is showing up properly in both DAWs. But it can't load any vector.
I assume it is an authorization issue, but i can't locate the .ser file in the nebulatemprepository folder.
Both when i tried nebula 2 and nebula 3, this .ser file simply doesn't exist in my folders.
Any tip?

Did you product upgrade from Nebula2 to Nebula3? You should use different temprepositoryfolders!

i've not installed both in the same time, i first installed nebula 3, then uninstalled it and installed nebula 2 just to see if it worked.
The main problem is that i just can't see nebula 3 on cubase and that i can't find any .ser file in my main installation folder.

Uninstall everything. Install Nebula3. And tell us in which sequencer can see Nebula and which not. This issue is not .SER file related. Did you install before Nebula3 PRO? Some sequencer has a black list of plug-ins that crash.
