Post here your bad experience with Samplitude and Nebula

There is an announcement regarding this topic. If you have issues post here. If samplitude 10 or 11 is working flawlessly, post here too! I'm interested in previous versions of nebula but also in the new 1.3.401

Nebula 3 Pro 1.3.400
Samplitude 10.21 Pro

It works well. However, when I have less than ~600mb RAM free when opening a new Nebula instance, many times the GUI is not rendered. The program does not fully crash, but once this happens, I have to force-close Samplitude and reboot. The next time I load the project, I can almost always get Nebula to load without issue.

I'll see about a log soon.

Hi there,

I´m having the exact problem as grahamduncan. I'm using the same specs as him, Nebula 3 Pro 1.3.400 and Samplitude 10.21 Pro. Previous versions of Nebula have been working flawlessly until now.

Regards!

sounds similar to the problem i have had with the new version in cubase sx 4.5.

the old one (that i am still using) run out of memory and maybe the GUI didn't appear, the new one ran out of memory and the whole cubase crashed :(

i am waiting for some word on this issue before i try again to use a new build of nebula, the old one works so well but is over 6 months old so must have many bugs remaining that have since been fixed... will need to upgrade at some point for all the new exciting things to come :D

I could find a solution for that. No you can't use old versions with new libraries, so it's better if you test them and report immediatly an issue. Nebula is improved every day but this has a cost sometimes. I suggest to backup the vstplugins acustica folder each time you find something reliable. You'll be able to tell me the number of your latest working release and to not loose some work

Hello again,

Also, I have noticed that the presets of the old library won't load anymore. Instead, Nebula loads the Init preset, and not the old preset (for example, old amps presets or Danish eq).

Happy weekend!
