Ok - I managed go run the server local 64 in Cub 5.5 32bit on Win 7 64bit. Its great - so far I launched about 40 instances and it runs smoothly. The Ram usage meter went to 4,5 Gig (I have 8total) and its a perfect solution. Hope it goes well along. Peace
This crash happens to me as well - Nebula 2 Commercial and Nebula 3 Free both do exactly the same thing (high pitched squeal, generic GUI with no labels, freeze, error messages, quit Cubase, start again). No 'workarounds' that I've read about have done anything to help.
Hapens as soon as it is loaded into a Cubase 5 (or Cubase Studio 4) insert. Happens when I have other plugins and tracks going(ie. actually making music). If I just open Nebula in a blank Cubase project with nothing else running it will work as expected, but that is obviously no use.
Tha Task Manager is on the right of the screengrab (this forum cuts the image in half) showing RAM usage etc. As you can see ASIO usage was about 55% in this case so nothing drastic. Notice the VST window with the generic Cubase GUI - that is Nebula crashing. I can reproduce this crash 100% of the time.
This bug has been around for at least a year (probably more). Aside from the links above, I have seen other people asking about it on other forums too.
I can reproduce the crash using Nebula 2, Nebula 3 Free, and Aquavox (I dont have access to Nebula 3 Pro to try it)
Can you please acknowledge that this is a BUG in Nebula.

I think the disclaimer is pretty clear. You are encouraged to test the free product which is fully functional before buying. The forum is available to public, so you can read about bugs before buying, and you are able to test perfectly nebula before buying. As you can see, the memory issue can be reproduced easily using acquavox or nebula3 free.
About the specific crash, 99% of times is caused by lack of memory, a 32 bits dll can use till 1.2 gigabytes cause memory fragmentation. The product is pretty stable, I know there are users which are using many (in the order of hundreds) instances which are using a LOT of ram resources in x64 mode. This is not always possible in x86 mode. In those picture: what is displaying task manager? I don't need a photo but an amount!
@mastermat I checked also other posts in this forum from you. If you didn't receive the key contact me IMMEDIATLY. We'll refund you if you ask it BEFORE receiving the key (the commercial product behaves like a trial and it expires if not authorized). email@example.com
