I've started getting the same thing after reverting back to XP, Cubase 5. It seems inexpicable, it works fine and then loading a nebula reverb when ram usage is in the 900's the plugin doesn't produce the GUI and I get the same as others here. Sometimes I have had a piercing feedback sound, if working in headphones I take them off when loading a Nebula now, like the good old days I used to have no problems loading Nebulas into the 1.4/1.5 mark, would crash beyond that tho. Back to the current problem, this non-formed Nebula that loads will crash cubase if removed from insert, but cubase still works if it is just switched off. Cubase will hang when closing it tho.. I was using 1.3.400 and upgraded to 1.3.413 to see if this solved matters but it's the same. Perhaps I'll see if I have older version that was working and see if problems persist.
I have a problem in protools it does exactly what he described. I use the Cubase LE4 and no problem. fxexpansion 2.11 and got no use gives error I bought the pro license bundler, well I think they should fix this stupid mistake. Good luck and try again.
I have exact same problem. I use some Neb 3 Pro instances on some tracks and freeze them in Cub 5.5. Than after few such operations I get exact same stuff - totall freeze. I was not aware of the "freeze does not free RAM" issue, so I will keep eye on it. I just bought the Neb Server edition. I run WIn 7 x64 but Cubase 32-bit- using the local server edition would allow me to use more RAM than Cubase allows right? Am I thinking correctly?
Cool - than I cant wait for the post cause I have no clue how to proceed with the Local server. Normally I would use it thru a Jbridge right? I just fire up the standard Neb3 pro and than what??? I am stuck
