I reinstalled the setup files and updated to the new version (several times, in fact), but Nebula is still crashing Sonar - and now I am getting a fatal error message, and a dump file is being created (never saw this before in Sonar):

"A fatal error has occurred
Module: c\program files\steinberg\vstplugins\acustica\Nebula3CoreII64Reverb.dll

A crash dump file has been created here...

Exception code: c0000005
Address: 000000000F1A28A8:0000000000000000:0000000000004C"

(hope I am not missing any zeroes - hard to read them all)

If I replace the XML files with my old backups, then the crashes do not occur.

I'm now having the same problems with the CLC-PRO AlexB release, but the same fix isn't working that worked for the MWC-PRO release.

I guess I'm going to have to ditch the AlexB PRO libraries until this is resolved...

I've got the Alex B CLC Pro libs running in Sonar 8.5.3 x64 using Nebula 1.3.413 Core II x64 and the Scott Kane Vintage Machine skin. Your fault might be a parameter in the xml file.

This is definitely a skin problem. I get crashes from the red skin too (there's another thread talking about this), and the SK Vintage machine works great for the nebula plugin but not the reverb one.

It *must* be a setting in the xml file - I wonder if we can work this out together. Here are my specs:
- windows 7 x64
- SONAR 8.5.3 x64
- Nebula3CoreII64 and Nebula3CoreII64 Reverb 4.12
- Q6600 quad core 2.4 GHz
- 8 GB RAM
- ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card
(anything else important?)

I just noticed there is a ver 4.13. I'll try this and see if it's any different. The crash definitely happens when nebula is initialising, and it's definitely caused by the skin. Unfortunately I don't have any Alex B progs - so that is definitely not causing the crashes here.

4.13 is exactly the same.

Nebula3CoreII64 works with red box, SK analog and SK Vintage

Nebula3CoreII64 Reverb only works with SK Vintage. Red Box and SK analog cause SONAR to crash.
