Remove the acustica or make it smaller and brighten the acustica symbol a little, slightly lighter green leds, maybe the half circles that the needles sit in can have something done, some light trick perhaps ,they are slightly fuzzy above on my monitor. Metal washers of some sort that the knobs sits on, I'm just clutching at straws here, your doing a great job as usual I'll take you up on your offer sometime though, swirly spiral knobs, ying yang knobs, leds or a strip light that goes round with the turning knob you'll wish you never offered
I wish I could drum half as well with two hands as one of Terry Bozzio's feet
really like the look of this skin ... it is VERY easy on the eyes ... yet clearly readable.
It is so easy to be a critic ... but much tougher to actually do the design/layout work. I know just from my play with the NVC series.
If I may take the 'easy' route, and BE the critic I'd request a slight reduction on the view angle on the bottom row of knobs. I know it adds to the 3d perspective [which I like to see] ... but not too much perspective to have to watch as making adjustments. Such a fine line between the 'Look' and user functionality.
Not that this is the case, but its' like the light shining off a glass vu meter panel ... can look great in a photo-realistic way ... only to find that the glare is a distraction ... well, just an observation/opinion that I've gotten from seeing other GUI's.
But, to be sure, you have a nice 'easy on the peepers' GUI for this 'Heavy Beta' skin.
[hopefully the AA staff are taking notice ... they have more ACQUA plugins planned]. Just a positive thought!
