I made the NEEV73 for the AlexB Vintage x73 eQ. I made the NEEV81 for the AlexB Sidecar81.
The values next to the Input and Output-knobs are syncronized with the actual nebula-values.
I syncronized the meters a little bit with the skin that comes with the Vintage x73 eQ (the meters wasnt sensitive enough, not a big difference though, I talk about a 0,5 dB difference).
I wanted this skin to be clean and follow the Swedish ideal for designs (the "less-is-more"-design). Some stuff had to be moved to fit the Nebula-interface, but I tried to make it look close to the real thing.
Extra credits: - Thanks you Dacaveprods, his Sk_Good was used as a template for this skin! - Thanks you Asseca for the Nebula Skin-Guide!
I made a new improved version of the NEEV73 and NEEV81
Are anyone interested in a full 8-knob setup of these?
These where specially made for using with nebula setups and therefor the NEEV73 only have two knobs (gain+freq) and the NEEV81 have three knobs (gain+freq+Q). Much nicer than 5-6 knobs that will never be used.
I tried with a glass-screen for the nebula-values, but that kinda killed the neevish look, so I rather have the values written right on the unit.
I really like what You've done here You were looking for ideas? what about a N**e desk skin - for using with presets like Alex B's Vintage Blue console. I don't know how to 'skin' But I made this Mockup in photoshop, using a Scott Kane 'fader section' and your beautiful NEEV art for the VU's and in/out vol knobs It looks pretty good - especially with the Black info box. Could you make this? Paspallum
Hi I have vesrion 1.1 of your NEEV73 and NEEV81 I have installed them correctly now - hey and thanks - it taught me a better way to change out skins. But in Wavelab and REAPER my GUI looks like this - with ghost faders Has anyone else reported this issue? Have you seen it before? Paspallum
