Alex B VBC Differences in Line Inputs?

Postby sfunk » Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:50 pm

I have noticed that line ins 1 and 3 seem to attenuate the bottom end more so than the others. Has anyone else noticed this? I started to hear this and then checked by putting a full mix through each of the lines, its easier to hear what they are doing with full bandwidth material.
Any other observations?

Edit-i am ashamed to say i never paid much attention to the diagrams! Just had a look at them....i'm right. Why didnt i before :D

Well, that's exactly the way it is. Choose whichever Line Input sounds best for your particular signal and use those side effects. If the low end rolloff is what your signal needs, brilliant, you just achieved it in the best, most natural way you can imagine :D
Actually, that's exactly the reason why several console inputs are provided.
