Henry, I think that would be a good idea include stereo pair options sampling in stereo two mics of the same model at the same time, or special stereo position like X/Y with pencil condenser mics. Include difference distance in every condenser/ ribbon mic libraries is other good idea, I miss the distance options in some condenser mic libraries like U87, U67, ... and pencil condenser two.

I miss some specific models: AKG C414 for the acoustic guitars, Shure SM7 for vocals, ...

I talked you in PM about sampling the mojo of eq section in flat of different models of Vox Valvetronix amp for add to virtual amp simulators. You could think that it´s a stupid thing, but it´s very effective, overall if it´s used in a chain adding preamp tubes - amp eq - power amps tubes emulations with Nebula, and I think that could make it in not time.

CDSM has an enormous library dedicated to the Vox Valvetronix..... I know that it existed, I tested it for him....Did that ever get released....?

I think those libraries found their way into CDSM's Producer's Pack 2. I'm more of a Fender guy, so I haven't messed with those as much

Well, I know that libraries, Cdsoundmaster GTR-VTX get the signal across all elements of the amp (preamp-eq-poweramp), I talk about the eq section only for add the preamp and poweramp tubes apart, Producer Pack 2 have just two emulations of eq amps, a Marshall Valvestate and a Vox AC30, and Vox Valvetronix have a lot of amp models for get the sonic signature of each eq section:

http://www.valvetronix.net/forums/vt20- ... t4099.html

The idea is use the head of the amp in the virtual amp simulator and add forward instance of Nebula emulations of the preamp/ poweramp tubes, the equalizer section and the speaker to the final, like this:

1-Amp head (virtual amp software)
2-Preamp tubes
3-Equalizer
4-Poweramp tubes
5-Speaker

For preamp tubes use this library:

http://cdsoundmaster.com/site/cds-softw ... tcneb.html

For poweramp tubes these:

http://www.ownhammer.com/store/index.ph ... 3e19282eaa

And these speakers emulations:

http://www.ownhammer.com/store/index.ph ... &cPath=104

But there aren´t specific libraries of the equalizer section of the different amp models for add the analogue touch of this hardware component.

I'm always trying to build a better guitar tone path and I really appreciate the post to give me some new insight on how to use Nebula along with the other pieces I already use (like S-Gear for the amp heads).

Of course:

For preamp tubes use this library:

http://cdsoundmaster.com/site/cds-softw ... tcneb.html

(note: you have free stuff in "FREE VTC Programs")

For poweramp tubes these:

http://www.ownhammer.com/store/index.ph ... ath=122_87

And these speakers emulations:

http://www.ownhammer.com/store/

We would need the eq section of each amp model with its own sonic signature, and it can get from eq section of Vox Valvetronix and its different models. In the case we haven´t the eq emulation of a model amp specific could use other with similar sound.

The correct way to use the chain is use the same type of tubes of preamp/ poweramp of the real amp model. In the preamp tubes is not important the number of tubes, with a instance of a preset with a simple 12AX7 tube emulation is enough for all model of amps with that type of tubes in the preamp, but in the poweramp is important the number of tubes too, 2x-4x-6x, you´d need a or emulation of a specific number of a type of tube in the poweramp, for example 2x6L6, 4xEL34, ... You can use one or more instance for it.

This is a guide of real amps and preamp/power amp/speaker. I´d need libraries of the eq section for complete it!

(note: I replace some type of tube for other in some amps because not exist emulation for Nebula of these)

Just like to add a little to your superb list on amps there. I'm guessing due to fender messing about with stuff on reissues they are not the original specifications.

So if you go vintage,
Fender bassman 5f6a traditionally came with

12ay7 preamp tube,Then the buffer an phase inverter was 12ax7, power tubes were small bottle 5881.

I'm guessing fender reissues with a different set of tubes.
12ay7 was used in most tweed amps but I'm sure fender now supplies everything with 12ax7. So it's also debatable if the tweed deluxe is actually a 12 ay7 too

I had built a bassman circuit a couple years ago. They are very crunchy and p10r speakers can breakup very early giving a very textured sound.
I'm playing it a little bit here http://youtu.be/4DIinw-Cxro

Which then brings us on to the jtm45 which is the virtually the same circuit as the bassman But with a different style of transformer. They most famously used kt66. They did end up using a 12ax7 for the preamp tube.
So I guess you could say a marshall is actually a fender bassman! They do sound a little different. The only exception to them being different was Marshall I believe even originally copied the transformer design in the very first versions then at one point mismatched it with a kt66 which was completely wrong! lol sounded good though :ugeek:

Ps

Hope you don't mind me posting this on your thread Henry , looking forward to the mics by the way!
