Pardon my request, but, Someone with more experience-knowlowdge than me can give me an advice-hint for gear used by Waylon Jennings, Bill Anderson etc.? Just in case you haven't yet nebulized, Henry, could you do it? Please take your time Thanks you all for your responses
Hi Frankydt, Really would need a bit more from you to help. Not familiar with them so cannot comment. What projects do you like that they worked on. What songs in particular do you like - perhaps link to a video or preview? Some surfing can bring up some concrete hardware that they use.
I will be getting rid of the permanent discounts soon and moving all special offers and seasonal sales to the Newsletter so if you want to get stuff at a drastically reduced rate then do sign up if you want to get bulk orders with the most savings early in a products life. I won't spam you - probably a monthly update. I have been generous in the past so do sign up to get up to 50 % off on some things.
Now to the shop. New products added today. Way too many to list here but amps, mics, mojo and quick mix tools. Basically everything on sale is new since my last update.
The big news is that the latest stuff from February has the G-drive added. This may not occur to you now but this is a big deal. The G-drive just about is the best free upgrade for the libraries that you will get that will give you so much more flexibility in getting into the sweet spot of the hardware sampling. I have been amazed at how much you miss without it.
It was Lipa who suggested it so thanks man - I really GET it now!!! I hope you guys will too. I will be adding the G-drive over time as I work through my previous samplings. I have changed my mind and will not be renaming them with a _G suffix so these will replace your old files. If this bothers you and you want backward compatibility, you can always rename the new ones but once you hear the difference you may want to remix everything because it is just so much better. Please delete the recent G-drive updates. Now a word of warning - some work better with it and some give audible artifacts. You don't have to use it but it can add what you have been missing. I am starting from scratch today.
The future - I will be focussing on Amps for the next few weeks as I try to source some high quality, high end amps and spaces. I will also be bringing out a series based around the extraordinary E*I Preamps. Stuff plugged into stuff, you know that sort of thing. As I said in my very first post - I apologise to your HDDs. I will also begin sampling the Helios soon. The Bricasti is still being a pain to nail but just hold on a little longer.
Other than that Hope you find the recent stuff useful.
Oh by the way - if you are struggling for HDD space - it goes without saying but just instal the sample rates you use most and leave out the ones you don't.
For the mojo files am I right in believing that all the Low Drive presets mean the input is hot with a slow release/attack but the needle is not moving or is it preset specific? Also what is the deep and deeper preset in the Fairchild 670? Thanks
