I have always looked at this as a plus!!! Worth the hard drive space in my opinion.

Hi sneaky,
If size is an issue, just delete the 192 khz stuff especially if you work at 44.1 khz. You will recover a ton of space. Many won't use them as much as the others. It's up to you to decide I suppose. . .Put another way, just install the sample rate you actually use.

On my end the different sample rates give different flavours so I use them all and the 192 khz stuff does sound stellar for hifi stuff. But most can just archive them until they are ready. It's future proof.
All the best

Hi all!!

Out of curiosity I just took some graphs from the Tape sim library (M3,M4,tapes1&2@192khz)

Based on measurements of the Anamod ATS-1
(ANAMOD-A.png, ANAMOD-B.png),
compared with the M3 and M4 from Nebula, I can now conclude that the
M3=Ampex 351 and the M4=Ampex ATR 102.
As for the tapes: 1=456, 2=GP9 (456 sounded fatter on the bottom, smooth in the highs; GP9 has more highs with a tighter bottom)

measurements: http://www.casimages.com/a/QpXAR

let me know what you guys think!

Peace!

hi henry. i just checked out my first library of yours, titan eq demo. sound very good! i think sampling static eq presets as preamps has a better sound for sure! we just need millions of different settings :D

i noted in the titan demo it was 11K, but the final 2 kernels didn't have any measurable distortion/had nothing there (in Span analyzer), i assume we can just change it to 8k without any problems, save cpu?

i think i will buy your titan version 2 when its done, any idea when? ;)

Hey David,
Great idea. Absolutely lower the kernels if it helps you save resources. I suggest that for people with limited resources anyway. Did a long post here on the forum on it a while back about realtime use of nebula on a modest computer. You can always turn it back to full on render if so desired. Also it goes without saying that input levels and frequency info do somehow affect the distortion for all I know.

Titan eq 2 will be a high dynamic layer 192 khz sampling coming perhaps from the beginning of next year. I also have a Redd47 replica preamp which will be the basis of an interesting series. This is not the Drip version or revolution version but a custom version using genuine vintage E*I amplifiers. The closest it is claimed to a Redd47. So exciting times. However the Bricasti will keep me busy and we hope to begin a roll out from around December/January God willing.
Best wishes
Henry

Bought Tape Vol 3 & 4 and they are really really good. NV Pre into Console Stripe is fantastic as well. Will get more in the future.

Looking forward to Bricasti reverb.

God Bless and Cheers
