ALEX B CLC frequency response 1000-2000Hz

Postby lillosnx » Sun Dec 19, 2010 9:45 pm

I was checking the frequency response on the input channels with the vst plugin analyser but it seems all of them have an anomally around the 1-2kHz area. As you can see in the image the plot is very different than the manual. Can somebody confirm or is it that Im doing some major mistake but Im totally blind to see it?

I think that all alexb libraries are -18dBfs optimized
so if you run vst analyzer at 0dBfs you are actually hitting +18dbVU which causes unnatural distortion.

+1

Its the anomaly of hugely overdriven nebula and VST analyzer combo. Set the drive slider to lowest, and see how it disappears.

not the drive-slider! use the input-slider to lower the incoming sound.
