i like to use dBpoweramp. You can batch process files to a certain peak volume.

I am planning to include 'true peak' normalizing into the next NebulaMan release. It will be an alternative to an existing 'rms peak' normalizing, which is not always suitable for audio file with heavy transients.

Zabukowski,

It would be cool to if you could combine these together. That would take care of HF only content (such as hi hat). You could say if -18 rms peak normalization is clipping. Then use your peak to peak normalization.
