108-GTR Vibro F59 (1972 Fender Vibro Champ) Released

Postby ownhammer » Fri Apr 20, 2012 10:43 pm

Hi all,

On the site today are the Speaker Cabinets MMS, NEB, and WAV series libraries of the 108-GTR Vibro F59, a sampled 1972 Fender Vibro Champ 1x8 combo.

Links:

108-GTR Vibro F59 MMS

Audio demos:

If you missed it, the Bogner 4x12 with Chinese Celestion Vintage 30's library saw some massive and progressive updates recently also, of which mark the current standard for new libraries and previous library updates. More info can be found here. Also released the MMS version of that cab/speaker combo, which can be found here

Enjoy!

It would be nice to hear some audio demos from the far mic positions and from the back cab too.

Great to hear! FWIW, my favorite mics in the NEB version of this are the MA200 and R92, especially for cleans, might be a good place to start exploring. :)

When I was beta testing the new Auxiliary adds, I posted some quick and dirty demos on my soundcloud of such with the Bogner V31:

Those were done with beta .wav IR's, but, the end results were extremely similar in general tonality and give an idea of what is offered. The Auxiliary mics will certainly see much more variance from speaker to speaker and cab to cab than the traditional close mics, as is to be expected. Some time this summer I'll have the time to put out the free demo cabs, at which point newcomers can just try things for themselves prior to exploring the rest of the commercial catalog, if desired.

Hi Ownhammer, thanks a lot for the links. This program is worth getting just for the auxillary mics alone. Great work!
