i am only just really getting my head round setting Alex B and R2R.
My take on it is to set your level to RMS of -18 hitting Alex B then just look at the clipping lights when going into R2R instances. I turn up the input gain on the R2Rs until i get a red light then attenuate until the red light is gone and then adjust the input level to taste. Pretty simple once you get used to it.

Can all R2R owners (like myself) get a download-link
to these tape-hiss programs?

Heads up; I emailed Michael about the hiss and high-gain programs,
and he mailed me back within 45 minutes with the links.
Now that's customer-service for you there! 8-) 8-)
