can someone explain what the motivation is behind this - rather than instead using a smaller kernal version of Alex B desk?

Is it to showcase that the Nebula engine is light when used in the same way as VCC? IE Nebula is heavy due to the multi layer complexity of the progams - not heavy by design?

i guess the point is that everyone will be able to create standalone free nebula based plugs with nat.

It's pretty cool, although a blatant f off to Slate
I hope it works out and is stable etc. For one I would like the bug with C5 sorted out before all this new stuff, I've not been able to load a nebula with Ram usage over 900mbs for months, which is limiting to say the least. I still flinch when I load a Nebula, generally I remember to turn sound down
These fixes would go a long way to improving Nebula's image as a professional product.
But this Nat Plugin could be cool, I wonder if the GUI will be customizable? Hope so.
Also Looking forward to the possibility of more kernels these micro kernels may bring.

WHO CARES ABOUT SLATE.

MAKE COMPRESSION WORK IN NEBULA AND DOMINATE THE WORLD OF PLUGINS.

THAT'S ALL YOU NEED.

MICROKERNELS. Bah. We don't need these demonstrations. I know ego can be a huge thing, but the truth always rises to the top. Nebula is unmatched.

COMPRESSION.

AND THEN RETIRE RICH.

It's so easy.

Slate aren't really a problem from what i heard, quite a few people are disappointed with the plug in! the one to be worried about is Sound Toys "Juice" there plug's never fail to deliver!!

And I truly hope that they will use real Nebula samples for the plug... ;)

Yeah, I see no point otherwise.
Not that impressed with VCC demos, preferred AlexB stuff over it, so it wouldn't make sense for me to use it if it is based on VCC.
