Developers: Clariphonic EQ??

Postby beingmf3 » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:39 am

This piece of gear is really hot, and if you haven't heard about it yet... that's why I mention it :) Would be a fantastic candidate for Nebula sampling: simple, harmonic, euphonic.
Since I can't afford it...

Bob, if you sample it, would it be possible to do a 96k version too perhaps? :)

The product may be so new that it could alienate UBK. Would be cool to get the go ahead from him.

Im a big fan of Gregor UBK and I think it would be decent to get his blessing...I dont know why but I feel like he is a smaller fish outfit and its so unique as a unit...
I dont know - this is an interesting area...is there a line to be drawn?

I'd say leave it alone. The Clariphonic is extremely affordable, NOT expensive. Small indie guys like Greg/UBK are very creative, he's making awesome new stuff for very low prices and he needs his bread and butter. Plenty of rare big time classics left to sample without going for the small indies.
