Because it's impossible to discern the low end enhancement that's going on with this Thermionic Culture tube tools on laptop speakers.

It's completely wrong to judge any professional tool on those for that matter.

Hi,

Unfortunately I can't get the demo download to work in Google Chrome or Firefox. Clicking 'download' just sends me back to the 'clicking download' page. Any ideas?

Cheers

I understand that. I have good listening AKG 701 and Adam monitors in the studio, havent been listening there. Just wondering what I'm missing :)

I have to say I wasn't that impressed by the demos (but I liked the music !) or the actual nebula demo itself, I felt the colouration was somewhat muted, but I decided to buy the library anyway - reading reviews of the actual hardware and some of the comments here persuaded me to do so.

And it's a beast indeed ! - I'm just scratching the surface of this library at the moment, but I can see this one getting a lot of use. Great to see / hear a wider variety of Nebula libraries being released.

'AITB' fellers, any word on the cabinets libraries as such ?

Hi folks, any opinions on this vs r2r? Are those two libraries different enough? I tried the vcult demo yesterday on synths and I must say I was very impressed. Wondering which to buy now though...

Apples vs. oranges; the Thermionic CV (I am assuming that's what this program is sampled from) is for valve distortion. The R2R is tape machines.
