Cool. I have the doc fear, so this looks tempting.

I just picked up the UAD 'Mammoth' as it goes, will be interesting to compare.

Is this a time limited offer, im absolutely skint at the moment (even tho this is cheap) and paypal have removed my account (bank has changed name  ) so wont be able to get for a couple of weeks.

I got it 'free' with some coupons. Does sound very good indeed. Not trried the neb version.

Much as i love nebulas sound UAD are so much easier and flexible to use. And can run shed loads of them. Tend to keep nebula for the preamps and reverbs. Occasional doc fear/BAE 1073. But too unwieldy to use over most tracks.

Shed loads of the Massive Passive?! I can sure run more R2R and Mammoth than I could UAD FATSO or Massive Passive-plus it sounds way better...but Im ridin' SOLO...
Ive all but given up on my UAD card and am considering selling. Outboard compression plus Nebula Saturation and EQ and Im a happy man...but Im not a engineer or Pro mixer - I got time - I write music...

Ibe gone the other way - still on old pc, but a quad and a duo.

Honestly ive got about 4 manleys, 4 fatsos and tons of other stuff, with battery, massive, ABL, loads of stuff going on.

I just love the ease of getting a good sound with UA.

Fair enough i know it splits opinion.

Ive had it for years and slowly built up a large collection of plugs. I just know what i want. I find i spend ages just going thru nebula presets... I find it really fiddly and awkward. The sounds great tho. I use the preamps and the odd reverb mainly, oh and that fab Jah Phaser. Not hed time to really get into it.

Im a big fan of both - if i had a new i7 id use nebula more.
